Greetings from the team that brought you Ready, Set, Go!  These organizations are working
in partnership to support children and families transitioning to kindergarten.

The mission of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is to maximize academic achievement by every student in every school. The vision is to provide all students the best education available anywhere, preparing every child to lead a rich and productive life.

Child Care Resources Inc. is a private, non-profit child care resource and referral (CCR&R) agency that works with families and communities to ensure that all children have access to high quality, affordable early learning and school-age opportunities and experiences which enable them to succeed in school and in life.

The mission of the NC Office of School Readiness is to prepare children for school success through high-quality early education. The office supports preschool programs throughout North Carolina, in public schools and licensed child care centers.

The mission of  Early Reading First is to ensure that all children enter kindergarten with the necessary language, cognitive, and early reading skills for continued success in school.
